Vice-President – Sales & Business Development (Singapore)

Position

The Vice President (VP) Sales & Business Development is a full-time role, part of the Sales team and reporting to the Chief Sales Officer.

Based in Singapore.

Overview

BW Digital is seeking a high-performance driven VP Sales & Business Development to lead revenue growth and market expansion across its digital infrastructure portfolio, including data centre platforms and international connectivity.

This role is responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy, originating and closing strategic deals, and positioning BW Digital as a leading operator of digital infrastructure across APAC and US markets.

 Key Responsibilities

The VP Sales & Business Development has the following key responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the global sales and go-to-market strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Drive revenue generation across data centre and subsea capacity segments.
  • Identify growth opportunities and expand market penetration in South-East Asia, APAC and US markets.
  • Originate, structure, negotiate and close high-value infrastructure, colocation and capacity agreements.
  • Lead RFI, RFQ and RFP processes including hyperscale, wholesale, retail colocation and managed services bids.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with customers, including hyperscalers, neoclouds and carriers.
  • Provide commercial input into infrastructure expansions, campus developments and new investments.
  • Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and revenue performance reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business units, finance, legal and operations teams for seamless execution.
  • Lead and mentor commercial team members where applicable, establishing clear KPIs and performance standards.

Qualifications & Experiences

Mandatory requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in digital infrastructure sales, including data centres and/or subsea cables.
  • Proven track record of closing large-scale, 10-to-100-million-dollar infrastructure transactions.
  • Acute understanding of the digital ecosystem market dynamics and commercial models (wholesale, IRU, Lease, colocation, etc.).
  • Established industry network across hyperscalers, carriers and strategic partners (local stakeholders, power / water utilities, etc.).
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including deal structuring and modelling.
  • Executive presence with the ability to initiate relationships and influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data centre infrastructure sales and business development, including the development and conclusion of strategic agreements for cloud, training and inference workloads.
  • Strong knowledge of hyperscale requirements, colocation market and connectivity ecosystems.
  • Experience operating across APAC, South-East Asia and/or US markets.
  • Exposure to infrastructure investment and/or asset monetisation environments.
