NDP1 Campus Service Delivery Manager (Batam)

The NDP1 Campus Service Delivery Manager will be part of the Data Centre team.

Based in our offices in Batam, Indonesia.

Overview

The NDP1 Campus Service Delivery Manager role is to cover end-to-end delivery of colocation in term of wholesale or retail and connectivity services. This role ensures customer takeover RFS and provides continuous provide services to customer during post RFS.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a primary point of contact for every new Data Center Customers during on boarding.
  • Manage Data Hall and MMR customers delivery projects from lease contract signature to service handover and acceptance by customer.
  • Work collaboratively with DC Operations team, connectivity operations team, network, security, project team and external vendors, contractors, carriers.
  • Ensure compliance with data center good practice and standards while meeting with customer’s requirements.
  • Plan and deliver data hall space, rack, cage, suite allocation according to customer requirements.
  • Manage power and liquid cooled provisioning to customer’s rack level.
  • Coordinate with fitout works, including containments, BMS monitoring system, air quality corrosion monitoring, fire suppression, structured cabling, security access, and structured calculating to meet with customer’s requirements.
  • Manage and support customer expansion of racks, cages, suites, MMR and data hall.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of MMR utilization, patch panels, cabling inventory.
  • Ensure smooth handover of customer accounts from delivery team to operations once customer services are live.
  • Manage escalations related to delivery delays or technical challenges.
  • Manage customer SLA negotiation, SLA pre-implementation discussion with customers and BW Digital internal team such as Legal team, DC Operations team, Project team.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions post delivery to improve processes.
  • Conduct quality inspection, FOK/FAT, SAT and installation sign offs, commissioning, IST.
  • Manage installation sequences to avoid clashes between trades and ensure customer white space readiness.
  • Align project delivery with customer’s design standards, security requirements, SLA commitments.
  • Ensure readiness for data hall turnover to operations team, service delivery, including OMM, as-builts, warranties, commissioning, training
  • Coordinate directly with end-user technical teams and provide reporting required together with consultants and contractors
  • Lead and manage smooth hand over of the final solution to operations team and end user
  • Provide complete change management during operation on an as needed basis
  • Participate in monitoring and supervision of DC operations together with operations director and facility manager to ensure continuous service delivery during normal operation and also during any change management process
  • Participate in forensic and troubleshooting tasks as fit out subject matter expert
  • Support facility management as needed especially related to power and cooling balancing and fit out related other tasks or issues.

Qualifications & Experiences

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 4+ years of data centre Server Delivery or fitout project experiences
  • Technical knowledge in data centre electrical, mechanical, HVAC, liquid cooled, connectivity
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer management skills
  • Ability to work independently to coordinate with all stakeholders
  • Effective negotiation and escalation handling, managing when timelines slips or requirements are change
  • Exceptionally flexible, forward thinking and motivated by dynamic and face pace environment
