- BW Digital campus at Batam’s Nongsa Digital Park (under construction): an ecosystem of digital infrastructure consisting of a 120MW AI-ready data centre (NDP1), a submarine cable between Singapore and Batam (NCC) and a terrestrial fibre network in Nongsa Digital Park (Citra Connect).
- Hawaiki Nui (in development): a 10,000km submarine cable system planning to connect Australia, Indonesia and Singapore.

Position
Marketing & Communication Manager.
Location
Based at our offices in Singapore.
Purpose of role
Reporting to the HR & Communications Director, the Marketing & Communication Manager supports the development and delivery of internal and external communications across the organisation, helping to ensure consistent, timely and engaging messaging that aligns with our brand and business goals. The role also includes the organisation of industry / company events and general administrative support as required to help the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is a part-time position (25 hours per week, spread over 4 to 5 days).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, planning and execution of internal and external communication strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand voice.
- Draft, edit and publish high-quality content for newsletters, internal announcements, social media posts, press releases, presentations and other communication materials.
- Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure the timely release of communications across appropriate channels (e.g., email, intranet, LinkedIn).
- Work with the Communications Director to manage the company’s social media platforms, ensuring content is engaging, consistent and scheduled for maximum impact.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather updates, craft key messages and support cross-functional communication needs.
- Coordinate media outreach and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media contacts.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of internal events and campaigns including content creation and logistical coordination.
- Monitor and report on media coverage, content performance and industry trends to inform future communications.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication materials and platforms.
- Seek appropriate internal approvals before publishing content on external platforms and ensure all information handled is treated with strict confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a communications, media and administrative support role (experience in both areas preferred).
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong content creation and editing capabilities.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools (e.g., LinkedIn, content management systems, Canva).
- Basic understanding of media relations and PR activities.
- Good organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and departments to achieve shared communication goals.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships, manage multiple stakeholders and support cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders across departments.
